I’m Logan Senathirasa, proud owner of Senathi & Associates Professional Corporation.
As we kick things off on our newly updated website, I’d thought I’d begin our first official blog post by sharing a bit of my story.
Since I was a kid, I’d always been fascinated by the way businesses and finance worked. Aside from the allure of the title, the chance to serve as a public accountant working for the people was the perfect way to integrate my passion for business and dreams of pursuing a professional career. The variety of people, cases and businesses I’d meet was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse, and hence served as my stepping stone into the world of accounting.
After I earned my CMA in 1989, I began working with small clients and pursued additional education to bolster my certification. In 1993, I’d received my Chartered Accountant certification and decided to officially begin my own practise. Clientele was low at first, but as time went on the numbers picked up and I was operating a fully functional accounting firm.
Through my own practises and various ventures, I have served as a public accountant for over 31 years. Today, I serve as the founder of Senathi & Associates Professional Corporation, dealing with a variety of clients on the personal and corporate scale. In our day and age of technology, we at Senathi & Associates Professional Corporation strive to integrate new solutions to simplify the accounting process. Digitizing client communication, actively operating on the cloud and launching our brand-new website are steps towards a more efficient, and convenient digital future for my firm. I immensely enjoy my passion, and I strive to expand & build my business further into the corporate world.
When I’m not at work I enjoy playing golf, going on walks with my dog, and travelling around the world. I actively work with local charities such as the Abu-Huraira Center and Nativity Church, while also providing pro bono accounting & auditing services for non-profit organizations. As I continue to work with newer and younger employees, I aspire to teach them the importance of honesty and integrity in our profession. Confidence, professionalism and punctuality are key skills found on our team at Senathi & Associates Professional Corporation, while all our employees are encouraged to be out-of-the-box critical thinkers to provide our clients the best solutions possible.
As my firm continues to grow, I want to spread my story to validate the passion I have for my profession: how the things I care about shape the way I do business.
